shelby Johnson

Shelby graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin with a B.A. in Anthropology and a concentration in East Asian studies. An experienced researcher, Shelby conducted Historical and Anthropological research in the U.S., Italy and China. After graduation, Shelby began her career in research at FleishmanHillard’s headquarters office in August 2018. In her current role with Ipsos CX, Shelby collaborates with a wide range of client across the tech, financial services, healthcare, and food & beverage sectors to understand their business needs and design programs to facilitate data-driven strategic decisions. Shelby is in her element discussing insights with clients and sharing her passion for finding “the why” behind data. In addition to her client-facing role, she is a lead of the Research Excellence team, managing a team of eight managers and analysts to project excellence. She also works with her direct reports and those they manage to develop their skillsets and careers through one-on-one coaching.

When Shelby’s not at work, she’s spending time with family and friends, cuddling her black cat Vinny, enjoying music, hiking new trails, and playing rounds of disc golf.
